One of the best movies I've ever seen!
Ever since the first time I watched this movie I fell in love with it. Of course I saw the original three part series with subtitles. I have been searching for it everywhere and I finally decided to buy "Forever My Love". This movie, though shortened, still has charm but cannot compare to the original version. AWESOME "Sissi"
The first time I saw this movie entitled "Forever My Love" was about 35 years ago when I was attending elementary school in the Philippines. About a month ago, we just happened to talk about good classic movies and the movie suddenly came to my mind. I spent a lot of effort searching for the movie and when I got it, I couldn't help but watched it three times within a week. The movie is awesome. It is a drama full of charm, grace, beauty, decency and the characters played their roles with finesse. Costumes, which are elegant and selected with good taste became more enhanced with the beauty of breathtaking sceneries. It's fascinating to know that this fairy-tale-style movie actually happened in real life in the persons of very famous heads of a dynasty. The movie includes a little of government politics and history too. For me, I consider the movie very educational too because I ended up making further research about the life of Sissi and Franz. Beautiful
I LOVE this movie! It's the ultimate chick flick and I'm so glad I finally found it in English. This movie has everything a girl would want except for the uncut DVD set. America needs to get with the program as this is already a classic in Europe.
