Did God Create Evolution?

A Good Primer, But Not Terribly Complex
While normally this is an extremely intereting show dealing with cutting edge science and theory, this episode is the first I encountered where the concepts were significantly dated.

This episode deals more with Evolutionary AI models than exploring the potential for Kurzweil's Synchronicity. In fact Kurzweil isn't mentioned. Not once. Neither were the convergent bio-technologies hit upon in other episodes, or swarm robotics and hive computing.

(Current experiments using adaptive and cooperative hive computing as AI for small swarms of mini-quad copters is amazing and a little terrifying, and blow away nearly all the examples shared in this episodes)

This epoisode is a good primer, but fails to delve into the adoptions that are already converging human consiousness and existance with man-made technologies. My expectation is that a 42 minute episode of Through The Workhole should be more informative than a 15 minute TED lecture on the same topic...

Interesting!!!
Very interesting series overall even though there are a few episodes that turn off. I will keep watching it the series

A good understandable presentation on science.
This is a good understandable presentation on science. I own all seasons and have recommended for viewing to younger members of the family. I will buy more as they become available.
